Seal cubs are born in August and September, perfect timing for summer visitors to take the short boat ride from St Ives harbour to Seal Island to see them. They are incredibly cute !
The warship, HMS Wave, was trying to shelter in the harbour from a storm when it got washed ashore. Everyone was saved and some residents still remember that night.
